Where We've Been Lately!
Jalisco, Mexico. We're recently back from six months in the quiet Mexican village of San
Antonio Tlayacapan, bordering the popular Lake Chapala expat community of Ajijic.
(November 1 - April 30, 2007).
South America, Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro. Sailing
aboard Elegant Cruises' M.S. Andrea, an intimate 105-passenger
luxury vessel, we're off exploring Buenos Aires, Argentina, Montevideo,
Uruguay, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, and coastal areas and towns
not frequented by large cruise ships - places recognized by insiders
for their natural beauty and wildlife, historic or cultural

La Manzanilla, Jalisco, Mexico. This
quirky little beach town on Mexico's Costa Alegre (Happy Coast), just
four hours south of Puerto Vallarta, might still be off the beaten path
for mainstream travelers. But as we discovered during our month long
stay (mid-Dec. 2006 - mid-Jan. 2007), the once sleepy little fishing
village is waking up.
Ireland. A
winter visit arriving and departing through Dublin with a focus on the
north of Ireland, taking in Newcastle, St. Patrick's Country,

spend a week this August touring and photographing this off-the-beaten
path destination focusing on the loveliness of the Colonial
architecture, the grandeur of the natural vistas and the friendliness

Newfoundland/Labrador, Canada: Mid-July
10-day tour focuses on the natural beauty and Viking history of these
two eastern provinces, including whale-watching cruise of Witless Bay

For this mid-May island getaway, we're renting a villa (an ideal
